An incredible combination of Maya culture, breathtaking natural treasures, and unforgettable adventure activities! Break away for half a day and travel to an exclusive, protected natural sanctuary that is only a few minutes drive out of Playa del Carmen.
Your journey begins with a bike ride through the farmlands of Don Silvano where you will enjoy the surrounding jungle scenery and learn about local Maya subsistence farming.
Your journey will end in the mystic dry Cenote of the legendary Aluxes where you will witness a traditional Maya purification ceremony and learn of the religious and cultural importance of the Cenotes to the Maya people.

8:00 AM - 9:00 AM Pick up and departure for jungle site.
9:00 AM Bike ride.
9:40 AM Arrival at rest area. Briefing regarding zip-lines and Cenote visits. Refreshments.
9:55 AM Swim in Cenote Xta-Bay.
10:25 AM Snorkel in Cenote Chikin-Ha.
10:55 AM Purification ceremony in Cenote Aluxes.
11:25 AM Zip-lines.
12:00 PM Lunch and drinks. Afterwards return to bike station.
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM End of the expedition. Departure for hotel.
Recommendations:
Comfortable shoes for walking in the forest, bathing suit, extra shirt, towel and extra money (for tips, pictures and souvenirs)
Rules & Restrictions:
This expedition is not recommended for people with severe back problems, any severe physical or motor handicaps, serious heart problems, obese people, nor for those who suffer from claustrophobia or do not know how to swim. Pregnant women and people under the effects of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate in this expedition.
