Requirements for weddings between mexican
citizens.
| 1. |
Original and copy of each
party’s birth certificate. |
| 2. |
Original (certified)
of health certificates with blood type, venereal disease
(including syphilis and HIV) and blood type (RH) dated no
more than 15 days of the civil ceremony. |
| 3. |
Copy of each party’s official
identification document with photograph. |
| 4. |
Should either party be divorced or
widowed, copies of each accrediting document. |
| 5. |
Should one of the party’s be
under the age of 18, they must present official identification
for their consenting parents and either the present of both
parents at the event or a notarized copy of parental authorization
or a Marriage Expedient from the Secretary of City Hall
from their place of residence. |
| 6. |
Original and copy of each witnesses
official identification. |
Requirements
for weddings between foreigners and mexican nationals.
| 1. |
Original and copy of each party’s birth
certificate. |
| 2. |
Original and copy of foreigner’s birth certificate
translated by an authorized translation service (see your
consul or contact your wedding planner or hotel concierge
for contact information). |
| 3. |
Original and copy of Mexican National’s official identification
with current photography and original passport and copy of
foreigner. |
| 4. |
Wedding permit for foreigner authorizing vows between foreigner
and Mexican National from the state’s Immigration office. |
| 5. |
Original (certified) of prenuptial health certificates with
blood type, venereal disease (including syphilis and HIV)
and blood type (RH) dated no more than 15 days of the civil
ceremony performed at a local Lab Facility. |
| 6. |
Original and copy of each witnesses official identification. |
Requirements
for weddings between foreigners.
| Two working days prior to the event, both participants
should present: |
| 1. |
Their "Tourist card" which is provided
at the airport or point of entry. |
| 2. |
Original and copy of each party’s birth certificates
translated by an authorized translation service (see your
consul or contact your wedding planner or hotel concierge
for contact information). |
| 3. |
Original (certified) of prenuptial health certificates with
blood type, venereal disease (including syphilis and HIV)
and blood type (RH) dated no more than 15 days of the civil
ceremony performed at a local Lab Facility. |
| 4. |
Original passports and copies for both parties. |
| 5. |
Should either party be divorced or widowed, copies of each
accrediting document. |
| 6. |
Original and copy of each witnesses official identification
featuring age, address, nationality and parent’s nationality. |
