Dolphin Discovery-Cozumel is the best place to interact with different species, among them are the sea lions. These marine mammals are known for their energy and the joy they bring to those who see them walking and playing. At our facilities, our beloved sea lions are waiting for you to visit them to share their happiness and to give you a memorable experience.

In the Sea Lion Discovery program, you will have the unique opportunity to interact up close with these fantastic creatures. You will be amazed by their abilities as they jump out of the water to impress you. You will definitely be delighted when you hear them sing and see them dance. Even more enchanting will be the chance to touch and hug them, as well as receive a furry, wet kiss.

The fun doesn't end there! Admission to Chankanaab Park is included in your program. This park is dedicated to the preservation of nature and the entertainment of the people. Here you can enjoy the beauty of nature up close and relax in our great facilities.

Important

  • Children must be over 1.40 m tall to participate in the sea lion program.
  • All participants must be at least 1.20 m tall to participate in the snorkeling activities.
  • The use of life jackets is mandatory for all in-water programs.
  • Professional photographs will be available for purchase.
  • Admission to Chankanaab Park WITHOUT dolphin swim program costs: $378 MXN for adults and $252 MXN for children.
  • Cameras are not allowed in the water.
  • The use of life jackets is mandatory in all in-water programs.

Recommendations

  • Our natural environment is fragile, we must protect the reefs; for this reason, the use of sunscreen (or biodegradable) is not allowed in any of our programs.
  • For safety reasons, women 5 months pregnant or less can only participate in the Dolphin Encounter program accompanied by another adult and after having signed the responsibility form. Women more than 5 months pregnant cannot participate in any of the water activities.
  • Remember to arrive 30 minutes before your program, as you will receive an orientation beforehand.
  • We recommend you bring cash for cabs, shopping, meals and other expenses.
  • If you arrive in Cozumel by cruise ship, please check your itinerary before booking to avoid inconveniences. The time zone in Cozumel is UTC/GMT-6 hours during the winter and UTC/GMT-5 hours during the summer.
